Part 1 - Fire Safety

"Hi, kids. I'm Captain Crimson, and I'm here today at the Pleasantview fire station with my teammate Azure Maiden and local fire fighter Jack London. Today we are going to demonstrate several fire safety tips you should be aware of in your own home, since not everyone can be from my home planet of Emibaero."

"First off, Jack has agreed to demonstrate the proper use of a fire extinguisher. Notice how he aims at the base of the fire, to suffocate the flames at its source. You should always have a couple of fire extinguishers around the house to take care of small fires. Don't forget to check them on a regular basis to see if they are still charged and useable."

"One of the most important safety features you can have in your house is a smoke alarm. Besides alerting you in the event of a fire, they can be included in your home security system to call the fire department in the event of an emergency."

"Most buildings also have a sprinkler system, such as the one shown here in this kitchen. Sprinkler systems are designed to spray large amounts of water over a large area engulfed in flames."

"In the unfortunate event you do have a fire, and you don't have a sprinkler system or smoke detector, you should follow little John Thayer's example and call the fire department. If you don't know the fire department's direct phone number, you can always dial 911 and the emergency operator will assist you."

"If the entire house is on fire, you should exit the house quickly, but safely. Do not try to run straight through the flames to get outside. Always look for an easily accessible door or window. Also, keep low to the ground to prevent the smoke from getting into your lungs and causing you to suffocate.

"Once you get outside, follow little John Thayer and Maribel Jones' example and stay as far away from the house as possible so that trained fire fighters can get inside and put out the fire quickly."

"If by chance you do manage to catch on fire, remember these three important words. Stop, Drop and Roll. First, stop whatever you are doing, then drop to the ground, and roll around to put the flames out. Having someone pat you with a blanket or coat will help as well.

"However, remember, the best thing is not to have a fire at all. So don't play with matches or lighters, unless supervised by an adult, and never leave the kitchen unattended while cooking."

Part 2 - Don't Talk To Strangers

"Hello. I'm Ebon Huntress, and with me is one of my fellow teammates Tangerine Mistress. Today we're going to discuss a very important safety tip. Don't talk to strangers."

"Strangers are mostly people you don't know, or people you have never met. Although there is nothing wrong with meeting new people, you should take care of your surroundings to avoid any unpleasant situations. Take for example, little Lucy Burb. She knows then whenever she goes out walking, she should never go out alone. That is why her mother, Jennifer, is accompanying her."

"In the absence of an adult or guardian, you should have as many friends with you as possible. In this instance, Lucy has invited her friends Maribel Jones and Marsha Bruenig to go walking with her."

"Unfortunately, sometimes the inevitable happens and you will run into a strange person you may have never seen before. If the stranger tries to get you to do anything you don't think is right, always remember to throw up your hands and tell them no in a loud, strong voice, and if possible, go run and find an adult that you trust or a local police officer."

"Don't be fooled or tempted by offers of gifts, games, or candy either. Just as before, remember to throw up your hands and say no, and then go find an adult you trust or someone in authority."

"Most important of all, never, ever get into a car with a stranger by yourself. Do not be lured by the promise of giving you a quick ride home."

"Remember, there are always exceptions to every rule. However, no exception should ever jeopardize your safety or comfort. Some strangers are there to protect you, but others are there to harm you. So when in doubt, always seek out your parents, and remember to just say no."

Part 3 - No Running By The Pool

"Welcome to everyone watching. My name is Violet Haze. My teammate, Tawny Bimbo, and I are here at the community swimming pool to express a few concerns while playing in a water area."

"Swimming pools are a lot of fun. They are great for relaxing in the water and allowing your body to float gently. You can play a variety of games in the pool, such as Marco Polo. You can also play many sports in pools as well. Swimming in itself can be a great exercise. And let's not forget the simple fun of splashing each other."

"But all the water splashing in a pool has a tendency to leave the pool and gather around the edges. This is why you should always be careful not to run by the pool."

"Take for example little Trent Brighton. He's certainly not paying attention to what he is doing. His mind is elsewhere as he is running next to the side of the pool."

"By not paying attention, Trent ran right onto a slippery patch of water and fell into the pool."

"Fortunately, Trent was able to recover and wasn't seriously injured. However, he could have slipped the other way onto the pavement or even into a railing that would have caused him serious injury. Even worse would have been that we might not have known how to swim and drowned after falling into the pool."

"I am certain this has been a learning experience for Trent, so make sure you learn from his example as well. Swimming pools are supposed to be fun, so always make sure to take care of what you are doing and help prevent accidents from happening."

Part 4 - Electricity, Your Dangerous Friend

"Greetings. I'm Chromed Avenger, and with me is fellow scientist and teammate Emerald Guardian. We're both here today to talk about one of the most wondrous and dangerous sources of energy in the universe, electricity."

"Electricity is an important part of our lives. In fact, most living creatures can't actually live without it. Small amounts of electricity exist in our bodies, and we would not be able to live without it."

"Electricity can not be seen, but you see the effect of it everywhere. Electricity powers most of the things in your house. From light bulbs, and televisions and stereos, to the appliances you see here in this kitchen."

"However, sometimes electricity can cause damage to the devices that rely on it to function. Sometimes this will come from a surge of electricity, but most often, it comes from the device just being over used."

"When an electrical device breaks, you should almost never attempt to repair the device yourself. Instead, you should call a high skilled technician to come out and repair the broken device, such as Anette Ricci."

"Although Anette is a highly skilled technician, she shows here that sometimes even electricity can get the best of us. However, don't worry. Anette will be back up and working in no time."

"Fortunately, Anette was prepared for her dealings with electricity, but others are not always so lucky. Improper handling of electrical devices, and electricity itself, can lead to sever burns and even death itself. And that's why electricity is your dangerous friend."

So concludes the fourth chapter of Team Rainbow Super Force. Stay tuned for Chapter 5: The Sorority Hostage.
